Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated School Psychologist to join our team at Soliant. As a School Psychologist, you will play a vital role in supporting the academic achievement, social-emotional development, and mental well-being of our students.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct Comprehensive Assessments: Conduct thorough psychological assessments to evaluate students' cognitive, academic, social, and emotional functioning.
  • Develop Individualized Plans: Collaborate with educators, parents, and other stakeholders to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) and behavior intervention plans (BIPs) for students with diverse needs.
  • Provide Counseling and Therapeutic Interventions: Offer counseling and therapeutic interventions to students experiencing academic, behavioral, or emotional difficulties.
  • Participate in Multidisciplinary Team Meetings: Participate in team meetings to discuss student progress, interventions, and support strategies.
  • Support School-Wide Initiatives: Support initiatives aimed at promoting positive school climate, social-emotional learning, and mental health awareness.
  • Serve as a Resource: Serve as a resource to school staff regarding behavioral management techniques, crisis intervention, and community resources.
Qualifications
  • Master's or Doctoral Degree: Master's or doctoral degree in School Psychology from an accredited program.
  • Valid Certification/License: Valid certification/license as a Licensed Specialist in School Psychology (LSSP) in the state of Texas.
  • Previous Experience: Previous experience working as a School Psychologist in a school setting preferred.
  • Strong Knowledge: Strong knowledge of educational psychology, child development, and learning theories.
  • Excellent Interpersonal Skills: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated Ability: Demonstrated ability to conduct psychological assessments, interpret results, and develop appropriate interventions.
