About the Position:
As the Social Media Engagement Specialist within Abbott's Diabetes Care division, you will play a crucial role in reshaping how individuals manage their diabetes through pioneering products. Your primary focus will be on fostering brand loyalty and increasing visibility for the FreeStyle Libre Portfolio, which is transforming glucose monitoring through advanced sensing technology.
Your Key Responsibilities:
- Develop comprehensive content strategies and editorial schedules for US Organic Social Media Platforms.
- Execute and manage social media initiatives to enhance engagement and expand follower base.
- Create proposals aimed at improving online visibility and investigating new social media avenues.
- Direct YouTube strategies and lead strategic projects and campaigns across various channels.
- Collaborate with diverse teams to optimize content distribution and amplify US marketing efforts.
- Design campaigns to boost brand interaction among FreeStyle Libre Users in the US.
- Oversee community management, the FSL Ambassador Program, and the expansion of social care initiatives.
- Monitor key social media performance indicators and provide consistent updates to senior management.
- Support core marketing functions and manage cross-departmental relationships.
Qualifications:
A Bachelor's Degree accompanied by 4-6 years of pertinent experience, including at least 1 year in marketing or product management, OR an MBA with 1-3 years of relevant experience. Exceptional presentation, communication, and strategic planning abilities are vital.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in product management related to medical products or services.
- A proactive individual with strong analytical skills and creativity.
- Expertise in project management, time management, consumer insights, and digital marketing strategies.
