Job Title: Registered Nurse - Immunization Specialist

Strategic Resources, Inc. (SRI) is seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse to join our team as an Immunization Specialist in a detention healthcare setting. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality immunization services to patients in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assess and evaluate the immunization status and needs of patients, applying knowledge of current vaccine schedules and recommendations.
  • Provide education to patients on immunizations, including benefits, risks, side effects, and aftercare.
  • Administer immunizations to patients as indicated, documenting all procedures and patient interactions.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care and coordination of services.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and outcomes.
Requirements:
  • Current, full, and unrestricted licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state where the duty station is located.
  • Minimum two years of professional experience as a licensed Registered Nurse in a hospital, medical office, or residential setting.
  • Experience in a detention/correctional healthcare setting is preferred but not required.
  • Ability to work in a multi-cultural and multi-lingual environment, utilizing telephonic interpreter/translation services as needed.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to establish positive working relationships with patients, colleagues, and other stakeholders.
