Job Description

At Hispanic Housing Development Corporation (HHDC), we are seeking an experienced Property Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of our affordable housing properties. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our properties, providing exceptional customer service to our residents, and maintaining a safe and secure environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain a high level of customer satisfaction through effective communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Oversee the maintenance and repair of properties, ensuring that all work is completed in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Manage the budget and financial reports for each property, ensuring that all expenses are properly accounted for and that the property is operating within budget.
  • Develop and implement marketing strategies to attract new residents and maintain a high occupancy rate.
  • Supervise and train on-site staff, ensuring that they are equipped to provide excellent customer service and maintain a safe and secure environment.
  • Collaborate with the Property Supervisor and other team members to achieve operational goals and objectives.
Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience in property management, preferably in affordable housing and/or Section 8.
  • Strong knowledge of property management software and systems.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
