To be successful in this role, candidates must have:

  • Bachelor's Degree and a minimum of four years' Human Resources generalist experience.
  • In-depth knowledge of federal and state employment laws and current Human Resources principles, practices, and trends.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Demonstrated computer skills.
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Familiarity with compensation guidelines and salary ranges/bands. Familiarity with MIT Personnel Policy Manual and Human Resources guidelines desired; a SPHR or PHR preferred.
