Key Responsibilities:
  • On-Site Management: Direct daily activities of commercial retail construction projects, ensuring compliance with project specifications, timelines, and safety standards. Emphasis on large retail environments.
  • Quality Assurance: Supervise construction processes to guarantee that the highest quality benchmarks are upheld throughout the project duration, from groundwork to final assessment.
  • Team Leadership: Oversee and coordinate on-site teams, including subcontractors, suppliers, and site staff. Ensure effective communication and collaboration among all stakeholders.
  • Safety Management: Implement strict adherence to safety regulations and company protocols, conducting regular safety briefings and site evaluations to minimize risks.
  • Project Reporting: Deliver consistent updates on project progress, including schedule compliance, budget adherence, and potential obstacles, to the Project Manager and relevant stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience: 5+ years of experience as a Construction Supervisor, particularly in commercial retail and large-scale projects.
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; an associate degree in construction management or a related discipline is preferred.
  • Skills: Exceptional leadership, problem-solving, and communication abilities. Proficiency in construction management software and a comprehensive understanding of construction methodologies and safety practices.
  • Software Proficiency: Familiarity with Procore construction management software is highly desirable.
  • Certifications: OSHA certification is mandatory; additional certifications in construction management or safety are advantageous.
