Job Summary:

As a Barback at Tao Group Hospitality, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our bars. Your primary responsibility will be to support our bartenders and cocktail servers in all aspects of guest service. This includes maintaining the organization of the bar, stocking and re-stocking inventories, and interacting with guests and fellow employees in a polite and courteous manner.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain a professional appearance and adhere to company standards.

• Anticipate and accommodate guest needs in a timely manner.

• Provide exceptional service and ensure the delivery of food and beverages to guests.

• Maintain the cleanliness of the bar, bar area, and venue.

• Follow supervisor instructions and communicate with co-workers to ensure a team-oriented environment.

• Possess knowledge of food and beverage menus, company policies, and procedures.

• Comply with Department of Health and company sanitation standards.

• Work as part of a team and provide support to fellow team members.

Requirements:

• Previous hospitality experience, preferably in a high-volume restaurant or nightclub environment.

• Previous bar-backing experience is a plus.

• Ability to stand, lift, and bend for extended periods.

• Must be able to work a flexible schedule, including varying shifts and holidays.

Training and Development:

• Tao Group Hospitality in-venue bar back training and Food Handling Certificate are required.
