- Possess comprehensive knowledge of all services and amenities, including hours of operation, room types, rates, and ongoing promotions, to address guest inquiries effectively.
- Promote and track departmental initiatives, such as upselling programs.
- Ensure front desk staff complete necessary tasks at the end of their shifts.
- Implement and uphold departmental and hotel policies, including procedures for guest safety, billing accuracy, and key control.
- Maintain composure and organization during high-pressure situations.
- Engage with guests and staff with genuine care and urgency, ensuring complete satisfaction.
- Ensure adequate staffing levels to meet operational demands.
- Safeguard guest information and adhere to data protection protocols.
- Build and sustain positive relationships with team members across various departments through effective communication.
- Assist management in training and developing both new and existing staff members.
Qualifications
- At least one year of supervisory experience in a busy environment is preferred.
- Experience in a luxury hospitality setting is advantageous.
- Familiarity with Windows, Office, and property management systems is highly desirable.
- Basic proficiency in English, including speaking, reading, and writing.
- Ability to communicate clearly and professionally in both verbal and written formats.
- Basic arithmetic skills are required.
- Availability for varied shifts and flexible scheduling is necessary.
- Prior experience in hospitality is preferred.
- Eligibility to work in the USA is required.
