About the Role

Samaritan Healthcare is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team in a Trauma Level III setting. As a key member of our medical staff, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and contributing to a positive and supportive work environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess and plan patient care, implementing evidence-based practices to ensure optimal outcomes.
  • Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care and achieve shared goals.
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans, taking into account patient needs, preferences, and cultural backgrounds.
  • Provide education and support to patients and their families, promoting health literacy and self-management skills.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives, contributing to the development and implementation of best practices and policies.
Requirements
  • Graduation from an accredited school of nursing.
  • Current Washington State RN licensure.
  • Experience as an acute care registered nurse preferred.
  • Ability to perform the primary functions of a Registered Nurse in assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Advanced certifications in areas such as neonatal resuscitation, stable, and fetal monitoring.
  • Experience working in a Trauma Level III setting or similar environment.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
