The Director, Continuous Process Improvement plays a pivotal role in steering a team dedicated to fostering a culture of ongoing enhancement by establishing guidelines, benchmarks, and standards for tracking and evaluating outcomes. By leveraging Six Sigma principles and analytical techniques, this position will pinpoint, assess, and refine business operations to boost productivity, minimize expenses, and promote operational superiority.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with AES leadership to offer strategic guidance on the selection and prioritization of Continuous Improvement projects.
  • Oversee the Continuous Improvement roadmap and project pipeline.
  • Engage with stakeholders to comprehend their needs and expectations, ensuring alignment of the CI roadmap and initiatives with organizational goals.
  • Champion a CI mindset by adopting and implementing operational culture, providing training to the team on methodologies and tools.
  • Work alongside cross-functional teams to collect process-related data and insights, facilitating workshops and training sessions focused on process enhancement.
  • Conduct comprehensive evaluations of existing business processes to uncover failure points, inefficiencies, simplification opportunities, and areas ripe for improvement utilizing analytics and industry best practices.
  • Track key performance indicators (KPIs) to monitor ongoing process performance and evaluate the effects of process enhancements.
  • Serve as a leader, mentor, and coach in Lean Six Sigma and other process improvement methodologies, principles, values, philosophies, and tools that foster continuous improvement.
  • Create and maintain process documentation, including process maps, standard operating procedures, and performance metrics.
  • Collaborate with IT teams to implement technological solutions that facilitate process optimization.
  • Drive innovation and the integration of new technologies to improve process automation and efficiency within the organization.
  • Assess functional team efficiency and quality, managing objectives; ensuring that the team and individuals grasp expectations and take necessary actions when required.
Required Qualifications:
  • Legally authorized to work in the job posting country
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Engineering, or a related discipline
  • 7 or more years of professional experience
  • 5 or more years of experience in continuous process improvement, process analysis, and/or ERP implementations
  • 7 or more years of experience in a managerial role
  • Proficiency in process mapping tools and methodologies
  • Demonstrated capability in lean principle tools/project management methodologies
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration across diverse teams
  • Strong influencing skills that foster collaborative environments
  • Robust analytical, presentation, and problem-solving abilities with the capacity to interpret complex data
  • Ability to excel in a dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities effectively
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Black Belt Certification in Lean Six Sigma or other relevant certifications
  • Experience with Signavio process mining tool implementations
  • Working knowledge of Power BI and RPA tools
  • Proven expertise in change management methodologies
