Position: Certified Behavioral Specialist
Compensation Overview
- Annual salary of $120,000
- Incentive of $1.50 per hour for each hour worked beyond 300 hours by your team.
Expectations
- Supervise a team of up to 4 remote Behavioral Specialists
- Engage with families, children, and Behavioral Technicians (BTs)
- Provide on-site training and management for all BTs (up to 48)
- Oversee comprehensive care for clients
- Handle a rotating caseload of children requiring additional support (not making progress under remote supervision).
Job Overview
The Certified Behavioral Specialist will manage both direct and indirect caseloads while offering guidance to our virtual Behavioral Specialists and clinic-based Behavioral Technicians in the implementation of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) treatment plans. This role involves collaboration with other Certified Behavioral Specialists and licensed professionals within the Compleat KiDZ team. Candidates must possess strong communication and documentation abilities.
Qualifications
- Successful completion of a Background Check
- Certification from the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB) as a Certified Behavioral Specialist.
- Proficient in patient assessment, management, and documentation.
- Possession of a North Carolina BCBA License – if not currently held, it must be obtained within 30 days of employment.

Physical Requirements
The employee is regularly required to communicate effectively. Frequent physical activities include standing, walking, running, and assisting clients in mobility; reaching with hands and arms; and transitioning quickly between sitting and standing. The role may also involve lifting, pushing, or pulling weights up to 50 lbs.
