Position Summary

The Immigration Specialist will be an integral part of the Global Mobility team, dedicated to supporting U.S. employers in addressing their labor shortages by sponsoring foreign workers under the EB-3 Unskilled program. This role involves drafting Labor Certifications for submission to the Department of Labor, maintaining communication with clients regarding their case status, and managing a substantial caseload.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain effective communication with clients, guiding them through the immigration process and managing relationships.
  • Draft and submit Labor Certifications to the Department of Labor.
  • Create and maintain audit files for compliance purposes.
  • Respond to audit inquiries from the Department of Labor.
  • Prepare and file Prevailing Wage Determinations.
  • Revise documentation as necessary following attorney review.
  • Adhere to deadlines and keep management informed of case progress and any issues.
  • Handle a high-volume caseload while meeting established Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
  • Ensure data accuracy and assist with data audit initiatives.
  • Collaborate effectively with managers, attorneys, and support staff.
  • Perform additional duties and projects as assigned.

Education and Experience

Preferred qualifications include some college or an associate's degree, along with a minimum of one year of relevant experience in a similar role, ideally within the paralegal or immigration field. Experience with Employment-based Visas or related immigration programs is also preferred.

Work Environment

This position involves extended periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
