Job Responsibilities:

As a Senior Civil Engineering Project Leader, your main responsibilities will include:

  • Overseeing and directing the planning, design, and execution of civil engineering projects from start to finish.
  • Utilizing AutoCAD/Civil3D to create, modify, and maintain engineering and design documents.
  • Collaborating with clients, team members, and stakeholders to ensure project goals and deadlines are achieved.
  • Applying knowledge of Maryland civil regulations and permitting processes to ensure project adherence.
  • Preparing and reviewing construction documents, specifications, and reports.
  • Assigning tasks to team members, tracking progress, and providing support as necessary.
  • Identifying and addressing potential project risks and challenges.
  • Ensuring the highest level of client satisfaction through effective communication and management skills.
  • Working with multidisciplinary teams to accomplish project objectives.

Qualifications:
To qualify for the Senior Civil Engineering Project Leader position, you must possess:

  • A bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline.
  • A minimum of 5 years of engineering design experience, particularly in civil projects.
  • Professional Engineer (PE) certification is mandatory.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD/Civil3D and other relevant design software.
  • Strong understanding of Maryland civil regulations and the permitting process.
  • Experience in preparing and reviewing construction documents.
  • Exceptional client management skills, with a proven ability to maintain strong client relationships.
  • Excellent leadership and team management capabilities.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • A commitment to quality, safety, and continuous improvement.
