We are seeking a highly experienced and visionary Director of Workforce Innovation and Solutions to lead our dynamic team. This role entails ensuring rigorous compliance in the day-to-day operations of our workforce development programs, while also serving as the key liaison to oversee and direct our programs and services with a commitment to excellence.
Key Responsibilities- Provide Strategic Leadership: Set ambitious goals and drive innovation in program design, implementation, and evaluation for workforce justice and opportunity initiatives.
- Develop and Implement Strategic Vision: Leverage cutting-edge practices to address systemic inequities and create economic empowerment pathways for marginalized communities.
- Lead Workforce Development Programs: Utilize technology, data analytics, and human-centered design to drive impact and scale.
- Embed Equity and Inclusion Principles: Ensure responsiveness to diverse community needs and embed equity and inclusion principles into program design and implementation.
- Conduct Research and Evaluation: Identify trends, best practices, and opportunities for innovation in workforce development.
- Build Staff and Partner Capacity: Provide training and mentorship to staff and partner organizations in innovation and equity.
- Oversee Program Delivery: Ensure high-quality services and comprehensive participant support from entry to exit.
- Collaborate with Partners and Stakeholders: Drive the development and implementation of workforce programs that amplify NLEN's programs and services.
- Contribute to Grant Life Cycle: Ensure complete compliance and financial sustainability through grant writing and reporting.
- Foster a Culture of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion: Ensure accessibility for all community members and maintain strong relationships with community partners, employers, and stakeholders.
- Manage Strategic Initiatives: Oversee current and future strategic internal and external workforce initiatives, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and objectives.
- Develop Wraparound Support Programs: Exceed client needs and expectations with excellence through exceptional wraparound support programs.
- Provide Supervision and Support: Ensure high-quality service delivery and foster an environment of continuous learning and improvement.
- Extensive Knowledge of Workforce Development: Proven track record of managing local and government contracts.
- Goal-Oriented Planner: Accustomed to developing strategies and following through on them.
- Strong Analytical Skills: Ability to use data to make informed decisions.
- Excellent Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Demonstrated ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders and high emotional intelligence.
- Commitment to Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion: Experience working with culturally and linguistically diverse communities.
- Expert Knowledge of Workforce Development Policies and Regulations: Experience with grant writing and reporting.
