As a key member of our Heart Failure and Transplant program, you will have the opportunity to work with a comprehensive team of healthcare professionals, including surgeons, cardiologists, nurse practitioners, and other specialists.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide expert care to pediatric patients with heart failure and transplant needs
- Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized treatment plans
- Participate in the development and implementation of program goals and objectives
- Contribute to the education and training of medical students, residents, and fellows
- Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in pediatric heart failure and transplant care
- Board certification in pediatric cardiology from the American Board of Pediatrics
- Advanced heart failure and transplant fellowship training in a program certified by the American Board of Pediatrics
- Clinical competency and expertise in caring for patients with advanced heart failure therapies, including mechanical circulatory devices
- Ability to obtain a current Minnesota medical license
- Successful credentialing by hospital and third-party payers
