Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Biomed Tech I to join our team at Prime Healthcare. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing maintenance and repair duties under close supervision of BSI management.

Key Responsibilities

  • Install, test, calibrate, and repair biomedical equipment to ensure safe operations.
  • Ensure that biomedical equipment is in compliance with applicable regulatory requirements and quality control standards.
  • Work closely with clinicians to support patient diagnosing and treatment.
  • Regularly work after hours and be scheduled for on-call rotating shifts.

Requirements

  • Associate degree in Biomedical Engineering or related discipline.
  • 0-1 years' experience or equivalent combination of education/experience preferred.
  • Knowledge of TJC, DNV, HFAP, CAP, NFPA, CMS, HIPAA, and other applicable standards and regulations.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong computer skills, including MS Office and clinical applications.
  • Ability to troubleshoot, read schematics, and/or blueprints.
  • Field-related technical certifications, such as A+, CBET, CCE, or CHTM, preferred.
  • Valid driver's license required upon first 60 days of hire.
