Job Title: A/V Technician

Smart IMS is seeking a highly skilled A/V Technician to join our team. As an A/V Technician, you will be responsible for providing technical support for various events and meetings, including corporate conferences, training sessions, and stakeholder meetings.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate video and lighting equipment in a state-of-the-art studio
  • Experience with Panasonic Broadcast Cameras in a multi-camera setting
  • Experience with Video Switching using Ross and other professional switchers
  • Video Editing experience with Adobe Premiere Pro
  • Provide white glove support for corporate meetings and events
  • Support internal and external events that require technical assistance
Requirements:
  • 3+ years of professional video/audio capabilities experience in a corporate environment
  • Experience with video production and postproduction, including various video cameras, lighting, and video and audio editing software
  • Main skillset in areas such as live studio and video production shoot experience, video camera operation, lighting, video switching, and video/audio editing
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with virtual meeting applications, such as WebEx and Microsoft Teams
  • Knowledge of interactive displays, Crestron NVX and control systems, wired and wireless microphones, and BiAmp DSP's and Dante audio

As an A/V Technician, you will work closely with other A/V technicians and report to a manager of conference services. You will be responsible for setting up and changing video production backgrounds, tables, desks, and video camera and microphone setups on any given day. You must be able to manage expectations appropriately to often demanding clientele, while delivering service with a smile.

The ideal candidate will have a can-do attitude, be a problem solver, be detail-oriented, professional, and be willing to work in live video productions and recorded video productions. You will also have experience with virtual meeting applications, with a concentration in WebEx and Microsoft Teams. Additionally, you will be responsible for supporting all internal and external events that require technical assistance, including large conferences/symposiums, training sessions, various stakeholder meetings, as well as a variety of daily business meetings between corporate staff, stakeholders, and governmental agencies.

The A/V Group is responsible for managing all technical equipment installed at their campus, including the daily operation and support of a state-of-the-art corporate conference center. You will work on a team with other A/V technicians and report to a manager of conference services. You will be responsible for configuring, operating, and trouble-shooting integrated A/V systems, projectors/displays, microphones, various sound equipment, computer systems, internet-based collaboration software tools, computer networking settings, and video conferencing systems.

Occasional moving and lifting of equipment and furniture is required to support onsite and offsite meeting setup and teardown. You will thrive in a team environment with strong verbal and written communications. Onsite position at facility, which at times, requires some flexibility in daily scheduling.
