Surgical Care Specialist

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Inpatient Surgical Unit as a Surgical Care Specialist. This is a full-time position working days, with every third weekend and holidays required.
About the Role:This is an exciting opportunity to provide hands-on bedside care to patients undergoing complex surgical procedures. As a member of our multidisciplinary team, you will develop plans of care, facilitate education, and assist in restoring patients to their pre-surgical state of wellness.
What You Will Do:- Provide direct patient care to patients with complex surgical needs
- Develop and implement individualized plans of care
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure seamless care delivery
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) or equivalent experience
- Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in Connecticut
- Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS)
- Full-time position with 36 hours per week
- 12-hour shifts from 7am to 7:30pm
- Every third weekend and holidays required
