The Patient Care Specialist in Telemetry uses evidence-based practice to deliver quality patient care, ensuring comprehensive healthcare for adult, geriatric, and adolescent patients. Key responsibilities include developing patient plans, monitoring patient responses, implementing physician orders, and maintaining accurate documentation.
- Develop and implement patient plans, demonstrating leadership to meet patient/family needs.
- Maintain accurate documentation of nursing care, ensuring quality care and integration with the healthcare team.
- Promote effective working relationships, contributing to Quality Improvement activities and departmental goals.
To be successful, applicants require a licensed Registered Nurse in Connecticut, medical/surgical experience, IV therapy experience, good communication skills, and ability to work in a time-oriented environment. Additional requirements include basic computer skills and ability to access Waterbury Hospital procedures.
Salary Estimate: $85,000 - $115,000 per year, depending on experience.
