About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Surgical Care Specialist to join our team in providing exceptional care to patients undergoing various types of surgeries.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide hands-on bedside care for patients with complex surgical needs as part of a multidisciplinary team.
  • Develop plans of care and facilitate education with a focus on restoring patients to their pre-surgical state of wellness.
  • Assist in delivering high-quality care for patients who require overnight or longer stays after surgeries.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Nursing from an accredited institution, BSN graduates preferred.
  • Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in Connecticut.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.

Work Schedule:

Part-Time, 24 hours per week, Days, 12-hour shifts, 7am-7:30pm. Every third weekend and holidays required.
