Avenue Growth Partners, an early growth equity firm headquartered in Washington DC, seeks a strategic CFO to partner with its founding partners in developing and extending best practices in all areas of the business.

This role is ideal for a high-agency candidate excited about directly influencing investment, value creation, and back-office operations. The successful candidate will work closely with the founding partners to refine the firm's ability to focus its investment team on the highest and best uses of its time, co-create a leading value creation program, and manage the entirety of the back-office footprint.

Key Responsibilities

  • Investment operations: continuously refine the firm's ability to focus its investment team on the highest and best uses of its time.
  • Value creation initiatives: co-create the early growth category's leading value creation program focused on elevating previously bootstrapped businesses into institutionally backed vertical SaaS platforms.
  • Back-office operations: manage the entirety of the back-office footprint (fund administration, accounting, tax, compliance, and employee benefits) while increasingly participating in fundraising and LP communications.

  • Compensation: competitive package (base, bonus, carried interest, and benefits) commensurate with previous work experience
