Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Desktop Support Specialist to join our team at NTT DATA. As a Desktop Support Specialist, you will provide technical support for our clients, ensuring their desktop systems are running smoothly and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide on-site technical support for clients, resolving issues with desktop systems, printers, and other equipment.
  • Perform troubleshooting, parts replacement, systems upgrades, deployment, and repair on desktops, notebooks, printers, and tablets.
  • Identify potential issues that could impact end-user experience and take corrective action.
  • Interact directly with clients and internal teams to resolve issues.
  • Ability to physically perform general office requirements, including lifting 50lbs or more.

Requirements:

  • 2+ years of desktop support experience.
  • Must have Windows Operating System environment experience.
  • Experience working within ticketing systems, such as ServiceNow or comparable.

Preferred Skills:

  • A+ desktop or equivalent skill set is highly recommended.
  • Excellent customer service skills and active communication.
  • Verbal and written communication skills with emphasis on customer service, including experience handling challenging situations and conflict resolution.
  • Ability to multi-task in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively and independently, taking initiative to identify, track, and resolve issues.
  • Excellent hands-on troubleshooting skills.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent is required; undergraduate degree or some college coursework preferred.
  • Travel, including overnight domestic or international trips, may be required.
