At Allied Universal, we're committed to providing exceptional service to our customers and employees. As a Branch Support Specialist, you'll play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our branch offices.
Key Responsibilities:- Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records, including personnel, medical, and benefit files.
- Assist with the annual open enrollment process and provide support for benefit-related questions.
- Oversee the administration of our uniform program, including sizing, issuance, and maintenance of records.
- Coordinate workers' compensation claims management, including issuing and obtaining claim paperwork.
- Receive and process leave of absence requests, coordinating with Corporate LOA department as needed.
- Maintain post-hire data entry in WinTeam and ensure changes are completed properly.
- Respond to inquiries from outside vendors on unemployment claims.
- Conduct HR-related audits and process weekly reports under the direction of Corporate Human Resources.
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Prior work experience in a professional administrative environment.
- Ability to multitask and handle stressful situations in a calm and professional manner.
- Effective management skills and ability to coordinate with multiple employees.
- Highly proficient in Microsoft Office applications and office management technology.
- College degree in business, human resources, or related field of study.
- Human resources and/or recruiting experience.
- Experience using iCIMS or other Applicant Tracking System.
- Experience using WinTeam or other Human Resources Information System.
- Medical, dental, vision, basic life, AD&D, and disability insurance.
- Enrollment in our company's 401(k) plan, subject to eligibility requirements.
- Eight paid holidays annually, five sick days, and four personal days.
- Vacation time offered at an accrual rate of 3.08 hours biweekly.
