At ManTech, we prioritize our employees while contributing to the protection of our nation's security. We are seeking a dedicated System Administrator to enhance our operations in the IT sector.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the maintenance, configuration, and dependable operation of computer systems and network servers.
  • Facilitate upgrades to hardware and software, manage virtual servers, and integrate automation processes while troubleshooting hardware and software issues.
  • Develop documentation and technical specifications for the planning and implementation of new or upgraded IT infrastructure.
  • Ensure regular backup operations and implement effective data protection, disaster recovery, and failover procedures.
  • Assist with desktop support and helpdesk functions, resolving application and workstation issues promptly.
  • Administer Kubernetes systems within a DevOps CI/CD environment, including auto-provisioning and auto-scaling configurations.
  • Manage capacity planning, storage, and database performance while monitoring all installed systems and infrastructure.
  • Demonstrate expertise in digital engineering methodologies and possess experience in configuring and maintaining IT systems.

Basic Qualifications:

  • A minimum of four (4) years of relevant experience.
  • A Bachelor's Degree in an IT-related field, or equivalent experience as outlined below:
    • Four (4) years of additional experience with a High School diploma.
    • Two (2) years of additional experience with an Associate's degree.
    • A Master's degree may substitute for two (2) years of experience; a Ph.D. may substitute for four (4) years of experience.
  • Two (2) years of specific experience related to the position.
  • Possession of IAT Level-II Certification within six months of starting the role.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Relevant industry certifications such as Microsoft, Red Hat Linux, AWS, or VMware.
  • Experience with scripting languages and automation tools like Ansible, Salt, or Puppet.
  • Additional relevant industry certifications.

Clearance Requirements:

  • Must hold an active TOP SECRET clearance.

Physical Requirements:

  • The individual in this role must be able to remain stationary for 50% of the time and occasionally move within the office environment.
