Position Overview

  • Huntington Ingalls Industries is seeking an Infrastructure Automation Engineer to become a vital part of our Cyber, Electronic Warfare & Space division.
  • Engage collaboratively with a team of software developers to facilitate operational support within the common cryptologic environment (CASA).
  • Participate in the development of prototypes and work closely with the Prototype Development Support team.

Join us in exploring innovative strategies to enhance mission operations, create new analytical tools, and more.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain and support the operational environment within the common cryptologic environment (CASA).
  • Collaborate within a compact team to oversee Linux systems, ElasticSearch infrastructure, and various Government Off-The-Shelf (GOTS) products.

Required Qualifications

  • Possession of an active TS/SCI clearance with Polygraph.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related discipline with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience.
  • Master's degree with at least 3 years of experience.
  • Associate's degree with a minimum of 7 years of experience.
  • High school diploma/GED with 9 years of pertinent experience.
  • Proficiency in ElasticSearch and noSQL databases.
  • Strong skills in Red Hat 7 and Python programming.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Familiarity with JavaScript.
  • Experience in DevOps or systems engineering.
