Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Customer Service Student Assistant in the One Stop office at Northern Kentucky University.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide exceptional customer service to students, parents, and the public, responding to inquiries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Convey a knowledge and understanding of university policies and procedures, including student registration, academic records, admissions, and financial assistance.
  • Assist with receiving and processing mail and documents, transporting documents to Financial Aid/Registrar/Admissions, and monitoring One Stop traffic flow.
  • Direct students to the appropriate team members and keep track of the number of students received.
  • Escort students from the One Stop to other offices and assist with answering inquiries via phone, email, virtual appointment, or online chat.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Proficiency with software used by the university, including ProSAM, ImageNow, SAP, and Microsoft Office programs.
  • Excellent organization skills, attention to detail, and customer service skills.
  • Ability to handle confidential materials in a professional manner and follow directions while working independently.
Working Conditions

Office hours are Monday-Friday 8:15 a.m.-4:30 p.m. The applicant must be able to work up to 25 hours a week during Fall and Spring terms, with summer hours also available. Work hours are arranged around a class schedule, with no evening or weekend hours.

Pay and Benefits

The pay rate for this position is $10.00 per hour.
