  • Approve bi-weekly payroll and complete all related paperwork.
  • Monitor temporary staffing, including safety, job performance, and weekly payroll approval.
  • Accountable for the safety of all employees for whom they are responsible.
  • Support and investigate situations in which line/equipment stoppage occurs due to perceived, imminent safety risk.
  • Complete responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and procedures and applicable laws.
  • Actively lead risk assessment activities for their area of responsibility.
  • Lead all required meetings with safety.
  • Complete incident investigations, root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions accordingly.
  • Ensure the proper training and development of all assigned employees.
  • Set goals for their organizational unit and ensure all employees understand and work toward achieving goals.
  • Motivate and coach employees through good communication and frequent performance feedback.
Qualifications:
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Basic working knowledge of Excel and Word software.
  • Must read, write, and speak English.
Education and Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent years as a Manufacturing Supervisor.
  • Preferred: 5 years of experience as a Supervisor in manufacturing. Plastics industry a plus.
Work Environment:

Manufacturing environment: Food Safety and GMP. Regularly required to walk, lift, and carry materials < 35 pounds through the plant in order to function in the job.
