Project Engineer

APTIM is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Project Engineer to join our team of engineering professionals serving our Federal Fueling programs.
The successful candidate will apply critical thinking skills to initial planning, procurement support, plan development, design, construction, and commissioning phases of projects.
Responsibilities will include coordinating with internal teams and external suppliers, interpreting client needs, and developing technically sound and cost-effective solutions.
Key Responsibilities- Coordinate with internal teams and external suppliers to ensure project deliverables are met.
- Interpret client needs and translate them into actionable project plans.
- Develop and implement project plans, specifications, and drawings.
- Review and edit project documents, including scopes of work, specifications, and field data.
- Prepare technical documents, including estimates, calculations, and project reports.
- Manage and organize project documents and information to support successful project completion.
- BS Degree in Engineering from an ABET accredited program.
- 5 years of engineering work experience with DoD or commercial fuels projects.
- Experience working with USACE, AFCEC, and NAVFAC agencies is preferred.
- Must be a US Citizen and able to pass a background check.
- PE candidates are preferred.
- Willingness to travel 10-15% of the time.

The targeted salary for this position is $90,000 - $110,000 per year.
