Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Parts and Service Coordinator to join our team at Reading Truck. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for processing parts orders, managing inventory levels, and ensuring timely delivery of merchandise to our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Process parts orders and manage inventory levels to meet customer needs
  • Verify the correct source, price, and availability of requested parts
  • Follow up with customers and vendors on all orders and inquiries
  • Aid with warehouse responsibilities, including ordering, receiving, stocking, and record keeping
  • Organize inventory locations and storage points to ensure easy access and accurate placement
  • Return non-stocking parts to vendors and process refunds/credits in a timely manner
  • Place inventory orders to satisfy customer demands and maintain inventory levels
  • Assist in maintaining stock levels and pricing on showroom displays
  • Participate in scheduled physical inventory, random audits, and daily cycle counts to ensure inventory accuracy
Requirements
  • High School diploma or GED
  • Prior experience working with ERP/MRP programs preferred
  • Ability to recognize basic mechanical parts
  • Knowledgeable in proper cash handling procedures
  • Knowledgeable in vehicle body related parts and service industry
  • Demonstrated skills in database management and record keeping preferred
  • Ability to problem solve quickly and prioritize daily tasks
