Los Angeles, California, United States Divert Full time

About Divert, Inc.
Divert, Inc. is a pioneering technology firm dedicated to safeguarding the value of food. Our mission is to develop advanced technologies and sustainable systems that combat food waste, thereby creating significant social and environmental benefits.

In the United States, over 100 million tons of food are wasted each year, with more than half ending up in landfills or incinerators. This waste contributes significantly to global greenhouse gas emissions, accounting for 8% to 10% of the total.
Divert is actively addressing these challenges by implementing innovative solutions that range from converting food waste into renewable energy to providing nourishment to those in need.

We collaborate with leading retailers in the industry, including major names, and serve nearly 5,400 retail locations nationwide. Our offerings include technology, logistics, and anaerobic digestion facilities that assist retailers in achieving their sustainability objectives.

Divert processes over 232,000 tons of food waste annually and has partnered with some of the largest food retailers and local food banks to facilitate the donation of over 10 million pounds of food, ensuring it reaches those who need it rather than going to waste.
