Key Responsibilities- Front Desk Operations: Manage front desk operations, including guest check-in and check-out, room assignments, and key card management.
- Cash Handling and Credit Card Transactions: Process cash and credit card transactions, handle cash drops, and maintain accurate records.
- Switchboard Operation and Telephone Etiquette: Answer and direct phone calls, respond to guest inquiries, and maintain a professional demeanor.
- Front Office Emergency/Security Procedures: Respond to emergency situations, maintain confidentiality, and follow established protocols.
- Reservations and Guest Services: Manage reservations, guest room assignments, and meeting room bookings.
- Administrative Support: Assist with administrative tasks, such as data entry, filing, and report preparation.
- Housekeeping and Maintenance: Ensure the front desk area and lobby are clean and tidy, and perform minor maintenance tasks as needed.
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Language Skills: Fluent verbal and written communication in English (Spanish a plus).
- Math Skills: Basic math skills, including handling cash and credit card transactions.
- Computer Skills: Proficient in computer software, including property management systems and Microsoft Office.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to stand for long periods, bend, twist, and lift up to 25 pounds.
This is a full-time position, working a variety of shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays. InnVite Hospitality offers a competitive salary and benefits package.
