Global Service Parts Operations Manager

About the Role:
Elliott Company is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Global Service Parts Operations Manager to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of our Service Parts Operations, including project management, production planning, inventory control, and CAD/CAM functions, as well as manufacturing, warehouse and shipping, and procurement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the financial aspects of the Service Parts operation to ensure optimization of financial commitments.
- Coordinate activities between the Service Parts Operation and other departments within Elliott Company to meet customer expectations.
- Develop and implement new or modified procedures to improve efficiency, productivity, and operations effectiveness.
- Direct various departments to ensure synchronization for efficient operation of the unit.
- Attain customer satisfaction relative to on-time shipment and quality of product.
- Responsibility for P&L and forecasting relative to revenue recognition and margin.
- Development and maintenance of departmental key performance indicators.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in a technical field or business discipline.
- Minimum of 10 years' experience in production control, purchasing, inventory control, and manufacturing planning.
- Operational background in customer service, process improvement, and information systems.
- Financial background in expense control, inventory control, margin analysis, profit & loss, and forecasting.
- Management experiences at various levels of an organization.
Working Conditions:
- Regular communication with all aspects of the Global Services organization.
- Heavy contact with Commercial Department and Service Centers.
- Global Manufacturing operations regarding delivery of product to meet Service Parts and customer requirements.
- Regular interaction and coordination with various support functions.
- Customer contact at various levels of customer organizations.
- Travel requirements approximately 25%.
Supervision:
- Direct supervisory responsibilities for all personnel in the department.
- Authority to hire, discipline, and discharge employees within the reporting structure.
- Responsibility for performance appraisals, salary planning, and administration.
