About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Product Professional to partner with stakeholders and define the product vision at the team level. As a key member of our product team, you will prioritize "what" the team is working on to deliver value to our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess the performance of and shape the structure and direction of new/existing product lines
  • Develop or assist in developing and executing strategic product plans
  • Evaluate product performance and identify innovations to deliver business value and address customer needs
  • Actively manage and escalate risk and customer-impacting issues within the day-to-day role to management
How You'll Make an Impact

You will build a product backlog, prioritize its items to achieve Objectives and Key Results (OKRs), and continuously keep it up to date. You will hold meetings with the product team to continuously update the product backlog and ensure product features and processes align with applicable Discover compliance and risk management standards.

What We're Looking For
  • Bachelor's degree in information technology, engineering, business administration, finance, mathematics, economics, statistics, or related field
  • 6+ years of experience in product management or engineering experience in financial services or tech industry, or related field
  • In lieu of a degree, 8+ years of experience in product management or engineering experience in financial services or tech industry, or related field
Preferred Qualifications
  • Agile certification – Scrum Master or Scrum Product Owner
  • Strong understanding of network security technologies (firewall, IDS/IPS, SWG, Remote Access, etc)
  • Experience defining and prioritizing the Firewall and IDS/IPS product roadmap
  • Knowledge of both on-prem and cloud deployments/architecture
  • Compliance/regulation experience
  • Automation experience/vision
