Job Summary

The Custom Application Specialist is responsible for delivering high-quality dry fertilizer application services to our customers. This role requires a strong understanding of agronomy principles and the ability to operate complex equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Apply dry fertilizers to customer fields using specialized equipment
  • Perform routine maintenance on application equipment to ensure optimal performance
  • Drive company vehicles and transport equipment as needed
  • Assist with general operations at the location, including seed and chemical handling
  • Participate in continuing education to maintain pesticide applicator license
  • Attend equipment workshops and training sessions to stay up-to-date on industry best practices
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Experience operating large equipment and a strong understanding of agronomy principles
  • CDL and pesticide license required
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced outdoor environment with exposure to varying weather conditions
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Work Environment

The Custom Application Specialist will work in a typical outdoor setting with exposure to outdoor elements. The role requires the ability to work in a fast-paced environment with varying weather conditions.
