Job Title: Adjunct Professor of Ceramics

St. Edward's University, a nationally recognized Catholic institution, invites applications for a pool of qualified candidates for future part-time Adjunct Faculty appointments in Studio Arts: Ceramics. The successful candidate will teach undergraduate college ceramic students, hold office hours, and assist students as needed.

Responsibilities:
  • Teach applied studio art lessons at all levels
  • Communicate effectively, orally and in writing
  • Interact effectively and professionally with the general public
  • Plan, organize, and prioritize tasks
  • Work under stress and with pressing timelines
  • Maintain confidentiality
Requirements:
  • Master's degree in Studio Arts
  • Previous teaching experience in applied studio art at the collegiate level
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Prior experience teaching all levels of wheel throwing and hand-building ceramics
