Assistant Professor of Sociology Position

The Department of Sociology at The University of Texas at Austin invites applications for a tenure-track position at the Assistant Professor level. We are seeking a highly qualified candidate to join our faculty and contribute to our research and teaching mission.

Responsibilities
  • Teach undergraduate and graduate courses in sociology
  • Conduct research and publish scholarly articles
  • Participate in departmental and university service
Qualifications

Applicants must have a PhD in hand or expected by August 1, 2025, and demonstrate a commitment to teaching excellence and a clearly defined research agenda.
