Adjunct Professor of Chemistry

We are seeking a highly qualified Adjunct of Chemistry to join our team at St. Edward's University. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching one or more sections of chemistry lecture and/or lab courses, as well as contributing to the development of our chemistry program.
Responsibilities:- Teach one or more sections of chemistry lecture and/or lab lower-division courses in analytical, general, and organic chemistry.
- Develop and implement engaging lesson plans and assessments to promote student learning and success.
- Provide individualized support and guidance to students, including office hours and online support.
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement curriculum and assessment strategies.
- Participate in departmental meetings and contribute to the development of departmental policies and procedures.
- M.S. or Ph.D. in chemistry or biochemistry required.
- Prior teaching experience preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with students, colleagues, and administrators.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
