Job Title: Senior HS&E Supervisor

Orion is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Health, Safety, and Environmental (HS&E) Supervisor to join our team. This is a critical role that requires a strong background in safety management, regulatory compliance, and environmental stewardship.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement effective safety programs and policies to ensure a safe work environment and compliance with state and federal regulations.
  • Conduct regular safety audits and inspections to identify and mitigate potential hazards.
  • Investigate accidents and incidents, and implement corrective actions to prevent reoccurrence.
  • Collaborate with the safety management team to establish short-term and long-term goals and objectives for the HS&E program.
  • Stay up-to-date with changing regulations and industry best practices to ensure compliance and improve safety performance.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 8 years of experience in a safety and health role, preferably in a construction or manufacturing environment.
  • Bachelor's degree in Occupational or Industrial Safety, or a related field.
  • Strong knowledge of safety management, regulatory compliance, and environmental stewardship.
  • Excellent communication and training skills, with the ability to effectively interface with employees at all levels of the organization.
Physical and Mental Requirements:
  • The incumbent must be able to perform the essential functions of the job with or without reasonable workplace accommodation.
  • The individual must be able to wear and properly utilize personal protective equipment (PPE) to work or visit within areas where it is required.
  • The incumbent must possess the ability to remain calm during emergencies and respond appropriately as dictated by the circumstance of the incident and as directed by the Safety Representative or other management personnel.
