Job Title: Senior Health and Safety Specialist

Indorama Ventures- Indovinya is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Health and Safety Specialist to join our team in The Woodlands, TX. This role provides specialized support, expertise, and technical guidance related to Health, Safety, Emergency, Industrial Hygiene, Crisis Management, and Security across the Indovinya organization.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide technical guidance and support to ensure compliance with federal regulatory and Indovinya standards requirements.
  • Develop and implement health and safety programs, policies, and procedures to promote a culture of safety and well-being.
  • Conduct risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies to minimize hazards and ensure a safe working environment.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and address health and safety concerns.
  • Develop and deliver training programs to enhance employee knowledge and skills in health and safety.
  • Conduct investigations and root cause analyses to identify and address health and safety incidents.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with regulatory agencies and industry partners to stay up-to-date on best practices and emerging trends.
  • Lead the development and implementation of emergency preparedness and response plans.
  • Provide oversight and direction to health and safety contractors and consultants.
  • Develop and maintain health and safety metrics and reporting to track progress and identify areas for improvement.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Occupational Safety and Health or related field.
  • 8+ years of experience in health and safety, with a focus on industrial hygiene and risk management.
  • Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH) or Certified Safety Professional (CSP) preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of federal and state health and safety regulations, including OSHA and ANSI.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
  • Ability to plan and execute initiatives and procedures with a global perspective.
