ROOFING EXPERIENCE IS ESSENTIAL

Kemper System America, Inc. is seeking a Field Technical Specialist for the Chicago, IL area and its neighboring regions. This role involves close collaboration with the National Technical Field Manager and Sales teams to conduct field assessments, facilitate applicator training, and oversee product installations on-site in accordance with established guidelines and risk management protocols.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Train new applicators to achieve certification.
  • Interpret and analyze construction plans, specifications, scopes of work, technical manuals, and drawings.
  • Perform job-start, interim, and final inspections for projects enrolled in the warranty program.
  • Document projects through detailed inspection reports and photographs.
  • Evaluate the workmanship of applicators to ensure high-quality standards.
  • Authorize project completion by confirming warranty criteria have been satisfied.
  • Develop project-specific mock-ups and prepare tailored samples.
  • Conduct practical demonstrations of products at trade exhibitions.
  • Support the sales team in assessing site conditions and recommending suitable assemblies.
  • Fluency in reading and writing English is required.
