We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Product Management Specialist to join our team at Walong Marketing, Inc. in Buena Park, CA.

About the Role:

The Product Management Specialist will play a key role in managing and enhancing our product offerings, focusing on vendor relationships, pricing, and promotions, as well as intercompany communication. This strategic position requires strong analytical skills to oversee purchase orders (PO) and proforma invoices (PI) with accuracy and timeliness.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Manage and maintain key brand vendor relationships, ensuring alignment with company goals and strategies through regular communication, performance reviews, and strategic planning.
  • Negotiate terms, agreements, and contracts with vendors to secure favorable outcomes for the company, balancing cost, quality, and delivery time to meet organizational objectives.
  • Develop and implement effective pricing strategies and promotional plans designed to drive sales and meet revenue targets, using data analysis and market insights.
  • Continuously analyze market trends and competitor pricing to make informed adjustments to pricing strategies, ensuring competitiveness and profitability.
  • Facilitate effective communication between different departments and teams within the company to ensure smooth operations, clear understanding of product strategies, and alignment of goals.
  • Coordinate with international offices and partners to harmonize product strategies and objectives, fostering collaboration and consistency across regions.
  • Oversee the confirmation of Purchase Orders (PO) and Proforma Invoices (PI), ensuring all details are accurate and processed in a timely manner to support efficient supply chain operations.
  • Collaborate closely with the finance and procurement teams to resolve any discrepancies or issues that arise, maintaining accuracy and accountability in financial documentation.
  • Monitor and manage inventory levels to ensure optimal stock levels are maintained, preventing overstocking and stockouts through careful planning and forecasting.
  • Implement inventory control procedures designed to minimize excess stock and reduce shortages, optimizing inventory turnover and reducing holding costs.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in product management or a related role, with a proven track record of success.
  • Bilingual English-speaking and Mandarin-speaking are preferred.
  • Comprehensive understanding of vendor relationship management, including contract negotiation and performance evaluation.
  • Expertise in developing and implementing pricing strategies and promotional plans.
  • Proficiency in inventory management, including forecasting, stock control, and optimization techniques.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with vendors, internal teams, and stakeholders.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and experience with inventory management software.
  • Ability to work independently, as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, with a data-driven approach to decision-making.

Estimated Salary Range: $65,000 - $67,000 per year.
