* Experience with modeling composite material response and/or material signal interactions using finite element method and/or similar numerical approaches
* Experience with MATLAB or scientific data analysis programming languages such as Python
* Excellent written communication skills
* Interest and ability to communicate and interact with multidisciplinary scientists

* PhD degree in applied mathematics, engineering, computer science, physics, or related field
* Demonstrated experience developing multimodal physics-based numerical models
* Experience with test system development including instrumentation integration
* Experience working with socially and culturally diverse community

* Application of registration, segmentation, and classification tools on sensor data sets
