Job Summary

ABHS is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Clinical Therapist to join our team at Harmony Bay Wellness. As a Clinical Therapist, you will provide clinical services to our clients, working closely with our Clinical Supervisor and other program staff to ensure the best possible outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assessment and Treatment Planning: Conduct thorough assessments of clients' counseling needs, including level of care placement, and develop individualized treatment plans to address their mental health and substance use diagnoses.
  • Clinical Services: Provide mental health counseling and co-occurring services to clients, utilizing evidence-based therapies such as Motivational Interviewing and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy.
  • Documentation and Record-Keeping: Maintain accurate and timely documentation of client services, assessments, and treatment plans in our Electronic Health Record (EHR) system.
  • Communication and Collaboration: Interface with clients, family members, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless communication and coordination of care.
  • Professional Development: Stay up-to-date with industry best practices, attend training and education sessions, and participate in peer review and quality improvement initiatives.
Requirements
  • Education: Master's degree in a related field (e.g., counseling, psychology, social work) and active licensure (LCSW, LPC, LAMFT, LMFT).
  • Experience: 2-4 years of experience working as a clinician in a mental health or substance use treatment setting.
  • Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and proficiency in electronic health record systems.
