Essential Duties

  • Understands and develops knowledge of Leader Bank products and services.
  • Conveys to customers an eagerness and willingness to help.
  • Builds customer rapport in all telephone and in person interactions.
  • Meets customer needs through problem solving techniques as required.
  • Refers Leader Bank products and services within established guidelines.
  • Maintains referral documentation and actively participates in sales promotions.
  • Conducts business in a professional manner and maintains a neat and orderly work area.
  • Establishes and maintains a good working relationship with all personnel.
  • Understands and adheres to security and compliance policies and procedures.
  • Processes all transactions including deposits, withdrawals, transfers, etc. in an accurate, efficient, professional manner.
  • Performs settlement procedures and balances cash drawer daily.
  • Performs any other duties as may be assigned from time to time by management.
  • Responsible for the key operational tasks in the branches she/he will support.
  • Duties include but are not limited to the following:
    • Cash differences tracking and follow up on large differences
    • Performs settlement procedures and balances cash drawer daily.
    • Responsible for conducting monthly compliance audit checklists
    • Performs any other duties as may be assigned from time to time by management.
  • Responsible for conducting and documenting all required audits including the following:
    • Cash drawers, cash recycler, vault, ATM’s, negotiable items
    • Communicate and reinforce changes in operational policies and procedures with team members.

 

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Must have good verbal and written communication skills, and basic computer skills.
  • A sales and service oriented personality is a must as is a professional appearance.
  • Possesses a genuine intention to work cooperatively with others.
  • Providing excellent service to customers while supplying them with information on a variety of banking products that are suited to their individual needs.
  • Duties performed require a high level of accuracy in cash handling and an expectation for cross-selling and up-selling products.

 

Work Environment

  • This job operates in a clerical, office setting. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.

 

Physical Demands

  • The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk/hear (e.g., communicate or express oneself while exchanging information). This is largely a sedentary role; however, some filing is required. This would require the ability to lift files at least 25 pounds, open filing cabinets, bend or stand on a stool as necessary.
