DuPont Water Solutions (DWS), a $1.5B global enterprise, is focused on addressing global challenges in water purification, conservation, and reuse, alongside purification solutions for life sciences. DWS serves a diverse clientele through three primary market segments: Industrial Water & Energy, Drinking Water & Desalination, and Life Science & Specialties.

Reporting to the Global Marketing Leader within the DuPont Water Solutions division, the Americas Regional Marketing Manager (RMM) will spearhead the implementation of regional market strategies for their segment, addressing complex water challenges, identifying innovative business models, and fostering a collaborative growth mindset across functions and regions.

As a local advocate for strategic marketing competencies, the RMM will gain a profound understanding of regional market dynamics, competitive landscapes, and customer segmentation, while outlining regional implementation and communication strategies. The RMM will be accountable for the sustained growth of the market segment and will support the commercial team with regional insights to enhance demand planning, pricing, and customer targeting.

The RMM will also have the opportunity to develop a global marketing strategy for a specific market segment and gain experience in crafting formal marketing plans. Additionally, they will lead a global market segment team alongside a technical lead to align on action plans regarding innovations, product launches, and application case studies.

This role does not focus on marketing communications.

Regional Responsibilities:

  • Formulate regional execution plans that drive sales and profitable growth in alignment with global strategies.
  • Monitor the sales pipeline to identify opportunities for both immediate and long-term growth.
  • Develop marketing strategies for pricing and market entry, tailored to regional customer needs.
  • Collaborate with regional sales and technology leaders to prioritize resources effectively.
  • Assess customer needs to identify market trends and drive innovation launches.
  • Utilize industry insights to identify opportunities for regional expansion.
  • Analyze competitor activities to ensure awareness of market dynamics.

Global Responsibilities:

  • Develop and update market strategies that align with the DWS business strategy.
  • Establish pricing targets in collaboration with other RMMs and product management.
  • Partner with marketing communications to implement effective communication strategies.
  • Develop an innovation pipeline in collaboration with research and development teams.
  • Analyze competitor activities to maintain awareness of market changes.

Qualifications:

  • Strong business and financial acumen with the ability to analyze data and communicate insights.
  • Ability to understand new markets through research and develop strategic plans.
  • A motivated professional with excellent interpersonal skills.
  • A change agent who drives issues to resolution.
  • Proven success in diverse, cross-functional teams.
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and project management expertise.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • A B.S. degree in a business or technical field; MBA preferred.
  • 5-10 years of experience in marketing or market development.
  • Willingness to travel up to 25% of the time.
  • Experience in multicultural and multi-regional environments preferred.
  • Preferred experience in water treatment technology.
