Job Description:

Job Summary:

The Texas Department of Aging & Disability Services is seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to serve as a Campus Administrator. This role is responsible for providing on-site oversight and support to our residential facilities, ensuring the health, safety, and well-being of our residents.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor and address unusual occurrences, emergencies, and incidents in a timely and effective manner.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for abuse/neglect allegations and serious incidents, ensuring the safety and health of residents.
  • Conduct preliminary investigations and coordinate with the Incident Management Team to resolve issues.
  • Develop and implement plans of correction to ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Provide training and in-service to facility staff on approved policies, procedures, and guidelines.
  • Collaborate with administrative and supervisory staff to coordinate and monitor service delivery.

Requirements:

  • Knowledge of ICF/IID standards and facility Operating Procedures Manual (OPM).
  • Ability to communicate effectively with residents, staff, and external stakeholders.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to work independently and make sound decisions.
  • Physical ability to perform direct contact duties and complete regular rounds over a wide area.

Working Conditions:

This role requires the ability to work a rotating shift schedule, including evenings, nights, and weekends. The successful candidate must be able to work independently and make sound decisions in a fast-paced environment.
