Job Summary

Banesco USA is seeking a highly skilled Client Service Representative to join our team in Coral Gables. As a key member of our business banking team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and support to our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Process transactions accurately and efficiently, ensuring compliance with bank policies and procedures.
  • Assist with night deposit duties, including logging bags, processing deposits, and issuing receipts.
  • Responsible for branch functions, including opening and closing the branch, balancing vault currency and coin, and replenishing ATM machines.
  • Open new accounts, maintain and close existing accounts, and ensure proper documentation is obtained from customers.
  • Assist customers with selecting bank products and services, and analyze account activities to determine cross-selling opportunities.
  • Refer business, loans, and other products and services to corresponding managers or bankers.
  • Cold-call new opportunities to capture new deposits and referrals.
  • Respond to inquiries from internal and external customers regarding account and transaction information.
  • Process NSF and overdraft transactions, hold and stop payments, and accept and research legal processes.
  • Ensure implementation and compliance with security precautions to protect customer deposits, bank assets, and staff.
  • Provide support and coverage to other South Florida branches as needed.
  • Complete annual training program and perform other functions as assigned.
Requirements
  • High School degree or equivalent experience.
  • Two (2) years of experience in retail banking or cash handling.
  • Advanced computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish, with the ability to fluently speak, understand, read, and write both languages.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate at all levels of the organization.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy, with the ability to multi-task and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Strong customer service skills, with a focus on ensuring satisfaction of internal and external customers.
  • Knowledge of selling and cross-selling techniques to provide customers with bank products and services.
  • Basic knowledge of related State and Federal banking compliance regulations and branch operational policies.
  • Ability to understand and comprehend instructions, procedures, and policies to ensure compliance with the Bank's policies and procedures.
