Job Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated Housekeeping Team Leader to oversee and coordinate housekeeping operations at our esteemed hotel properties. This role is crucial in ensuring that our guests experience the highest standards of cleanliness and comfort.

Location: Midland, MI, US

Key Responsibilities:

  • Administer and manage housekeeping tasks within designated areas.
  • Assume responsibilities of the Housekeeping Manager during their absence.
  • Conduct daily inspections of Room Attendants' performance to ensure compliance with cleanliness standards.
  • Maintain effective communication with the Front Office and Engineering departments.
  • Oversee the daily assignment of duties to ensure all staff are engaged and productive.
  • Handle lost and found items according to established protocols.
  • Ensure all cleaning supplies and equipment are adequately stocked and maintained.

Qualifications:

High School diploma or equivalent is required. A minimum of two to three years of experience in a hotel or related field is preferred. Previous supervisory experience is advantageous.

Physical Requirements:

This position may require flexible hours and the ability to lift and move objects weighing up to 50 pounds. Candidates must be able to stand for extended periods.

Essential Skills:

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to listen and address concerns raised by guests and team members.
  • Proficient in multitasking and prioritizing tasks effectively.
  • Demonstrated problem-solving skills and initiative.
