Job Summary

Bruker is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Regional Sales Representative to join our team in the US. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for selling Bruker Optics products and executing local demand generation activities for a territory in the US.

Key Responsibilities
  • Meet or exceed assigned territory sales targets by maintaining and growing sales in current accounts, and identifying and closing business in new accounts.
  • Accurately forecast prospects through the sales cycle, interpret customer needs, and identify Optics solutions.
  • Build and articulate the BOPT value proposition, understand customer decision-making processes, and key decision-makers and influencers.
  • Responsible for the full sales process, starting with generating leads, evaluating applications of interest for clients, evaluating the right system configurations, preparing quotations, and finalizing sales with clients through a purchase order.
  • Provide demos during the sales process, report executed feasibility studies when applicable, and manage on-site trials when required to close sales.
  • Responsible for customer trainings, coordinating trainings at installation or on demand, and coordinating shortest possible installation times after delivery with the service team.
  • Seek new market opportunities and new applications, act as a subject matter expert when discussing applications at conferences or promotional events, and represent Bruker Optics at customer events.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's, Master's, or PhD in chemistry, biochemistry, food science, or equivalent degree along with work experience.
  • Must have flexibility, ability to prioritize, and manage differing time constraints, in-depth industry knowledge, and demonstrated ability to learn both technology and sales techniques used by Bruker Optics in North America.
  • Ability to work in an analytical environment, being focused, and dealing with complex requests, capable of working in high-stress situations with monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets and KPIs, and willingness to travel (at least 50% of the monthly working time).
