Summary:

Our organization is seeking a dedicated Inside Sales and Customer Support Specialist to provide exceptional assistance to clients and sales teams regarding product inquiries and purchases in a professional and efficient manner.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Welcomes incoming clients to the showroom with professionalism and courtesy.
  • Guides showroom clients through their purchasing decisions by addressing inquiries, delivering product and pricing information, and managing invoices and payment processes.
  • Handles incoming phone calls with professionalism, addressing inquiries, processing orders, and redirecting calls as necessary.
  • Supports external sales representatives with order management and inquiries.
  • Communicates back-order information to external sales representatives and clients as required.
  • Effectively promotes and sells company products using established sales techniques, including suggestive selling when assisting clients.
  • Stays informed about industry trends and product knowledge, applying this knowledge daily.
  • Utilizes standard office equipment, including:
    • Multi-line telephone systems
    • Computers
    • Multi-function devices (copy, print, fax, scan)
  • Restocks supplies in the store as necessary.
  • Maintains a clean and organized workspace at all times.
  • Performs additional related duties as assigned.

Compensation: $19 per hour

Work Schedule: Monday – Friday, 7:30 am – 4:00 pm

Qualifications:

Education and Experience:

High School Diploma or Equivalent. Previous experience in customer service is advantageous.

Language Proficiency:

Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety guidelines and procedure manuals. Effective communication skills are essential, with bilingual proficiency (English/Spanish) strongly preferred.

Mathematical Skills:

Ability to perform basic mathematical operations, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division using whole numbers, fractions, and decimals.

Reasoning Skills:

Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed instructions.

Computer Proficiency:

Familiarity with Microsoft Windows, Outlook, and Word is required.

Work Environment:

This position is based in a showroom and office setting, with some warehouse responsibilities. Reasonable accommodations may be made for individuals with disabilities.

Physical Requirements:

Employees must regularly use their hands, reach with arms, and communicate effectively. Frequent standing, walking, and sitting are required, along with occasional lifting of up to 40 pounds. Specific vision abilities required include close vision.
